Ceremony: Part 1-What to expect from your photographer

🌿Your ceremony is THE most important part of a wedding day! It’s the whole reason all the people you care about the most, have gathered to celebrate your love!
•
🌸Let’s start from the beginning. Typically I like to arrive at the ceremony location before any guests have arrived. This will give me the opportunity to photograph all the little details, that either you or your decorator included. Sometimes the timeline won’t allow me to arrive early, and that’s okay too. I’ll still capture all the details, but your guests will inevitably be in those photos as well.
•
šŸ˜The moment has come to walk down the aisle! This is the moment so many couples look forward to. It’s completely normal to be a bit nervous with all of your guests looking at you. But keep in mind, they are there to support you, not judge. Just keep your eyes on your future life partner and soak in that moment, fully and completely.ā¤ļø That being said, try not to look at me during the ceremony. This is a time for me to capture candid and authentic moments.
•
😘I have photographed many ceremonies as the only photographer. It’s nothing new to me, but keep in mind, I can’t be in two places at once. I can either photograph you walking down the aisle from the front, and your fiancé’s reaction at a 45° angle. OR I can photograph you walking down the aisle from the back, and your fiance’s reaction from over your shoulder (being tall has it’s perks!) However, with a second photographer, we can cover all the angles! Just something to consideršŸ’•

šŸ’While exchanging rings, I always aim to capture a close up of you putting the ring on your partner’s finger. As well as a pulled back photo of you two laughing while trying to actually put the ring on. Same with your official first kiss as husband & wife, or husband & husband, or wife & wife, or life partners. You’ll often receive a closer vertical photo with hopefully just the two of you in frame, and a pulled back horizontal with everyone cheering and clapping. So make sure your first kiss is a good one!😘
