WHAT TO EXPECT
From the second you send me a message, to the day of your session, and the moment you receive all of your beautiful photographs on your private online gallery!
Hey lovebirds!
I totally understand that being in front of the camera seems difficult. Your may think it can be uncomfortable, awkward and you're constantly wondering "do I look stupid right now?" I promise you, I will never let you look stupid!
I have your best interests in mind! You can trust that I will do my best to make sure you look great, while I create a beautiful photograph, and insure a fun experience! If you and your partner have chemistry, or you're playful and know how to be silly together, then your session will absolutely be amazing! At the end of the day, it's all about capturing the love between the two of you, and your unique personalities in a timeless way!
I will guide you through poses and prompts, but from there it's up to you to have a little fun with your partner! Make each other laugh, say something nice to create some romance between you, or just hold each other a little tighter and kiss. PDA is always okay with me! Some of the best moments are the seconds after that perfect kiss. So keep that in mind for when I tell you to kiss and stay in each others embrace. Do your best to let your guard down around me, and I will do my best to make sure that it shows!
Session Info
⭐️The technical info: Each session requires a date reservation retainer and a signed contract. The remaining balance is due by the agreed upon date.
⭐️The fun info: Preparing for the session! I highly recommend that you wear colour. It pops in photographs and it really adds to the imagery! Ladies, I encourage you to do your hair and make-up, or have it professionally done. Guys, it's always awesome when you wear fun details such as suspenders, your favourite watch, or even a fresh haircut. Every little thing you do when it comes to styling for a session, counts! If we are photographing at multiple different locations, please bring a new outfit for each location. But make sure that if you do bring multiple outfits, that each person also has multiple outfits as well!
Dress up a little more than usual, as these photos will be hanging on your walls for many years to come and you want to look your best!
Dress for the location. Be practical when choosing your outfits so your location and season make sense with your outfits
Wear nice shoes! Yes, they will be in the photos
Avoid wearing neon colours as they often reflect the light and cause unflattering skin tones
Pick something that flatters your best assets, like a shorter hemline if you love your legs!
There is always something so romantic about a pretty white dress with gold jewellery
Dress in a way that makes you feel comfortable – you don’t want to be wearing a mini dress if you’re more a jeans & tee kind of girl
Coordinate with your partner – try to stay in the same colour family (reds, blues, naturals). Subtle coordination can really harmonize a photo
Ladies try to pick neat pieces of jewellery, but make sure it's not the type that needs to be constantly be “fixed”
Wear clothing that fits properly! You don’t want to be overwhelmed in something that is too big for you
Get creative and have fun!
⭐️The editing info: After our session has concluded, I will begin the editing process. Typically I edit about 70% colour and 30% black and white (give or take). Everything you get back has been personally edited by myself. If requested, I will bring your photos into Photoshop where I remove blemishes and occasionally lightly soften the appearance of under eye circles. If you require further touchups to your images, this can be done for an additional fee on a picture by picture basis. You will receive all your beautiful photographs on a private online gallery where you can easily download the high resolution images, as well as order printed products if you choose.
